This is my fitness blog. Here I post my progress and whatever information I feel is relevant. I really only lift weights. Aint nobody got time for cardio.

I think prefacing any healthy food with the word “skinny” or “diet” is counter productive. “Skinny lattes,” “skinny muffins,” “skinny cupcakes…” I think it would work better if we called healthy foods just by their names and prefaced unhealthy foods with the word “fat.” Cos really who would want to go out and say they want the “fat fries,” “fat latte,” “fat brownies,” etc.

Dinner the other night was pepper-crusted tenderloin, from a deer my dad hunted for me, and spicy mashed red potatoes. If you’ve never had deer tenderloin, you’re missing out, its amazing.
And I still eat potatoes because I love them so much I don’t want to go through life without them
I’m glad low-carb is becoming so popular, since the recipes often leave out ingredients I’m allergic to. Especially paleo recipes. It gives me hope… plus I’m marrying a chef and he sees it as a challenge to cook meals for me that contain nothing I’m allergic to…
